Baby Helen
In June we posted pictures of a maternity session that we did with Lori and Bob. Well, Baby Helen is here - and she is so cute!
This is one of my favorites...it doesn't look like Helen enjoyed it as much as we did!

One of our weddings from April of 2007 has just been published in the pages of The Knot Florida. Jeannette and Luis Cal's wedding was one of our favorites from last year and it is an honor to have it published in Florida's premier wedding planning magazine!

Chris and Melanie are super-troopers - really. We shot what turned out to be an awesome engagement session during Miami's stereotypical July thunderstorms. Chris is an industrial designer, so he wanted some really edgy shots. We love that because it means that we can take advantage of Miami's less popular but totally photogenic neighborhoods. They also wanted to highlight their cute little mini cooper. I think that the car worked really well in the shots!
You can't tell from these shots that there are giant thunderclouds looming in the background and fine sprinking of rain falling.
I love this picture, it's so cute!
I know for sure that Melanie and Chris trust us, because this beautiful wall was in SUCH a sketchy neighborhood.
Ok. So at this point it was starting to rain too much to be outside. But Alex spotted this awesome, amazing wall from outside in the car. We asked really politely and they let us shoot in there. TOTALLY worth it.
Not because of technical prowess or any artistic ability really, but just because it summarizes what Shaleen and I have been praying for now for over a year. A picture does say a thousand words.
Alex and I have shot a lot of weddings, Diane and Danny are right at the top of the list of most relaxed bride and groom. They were just so ready to get married! Danny has an infectious smile - you can't help but smile when you see this!
They were married at Saint Bonaventure church in Davie. This was our first wedding at this church - it is really cool! It has a contemporary but very elegant design.
It made for some gorgeous portraits!
Diane had a subtle and elegant ocean-themed wedding. She had the MOST unique bridesmaid and bridal bouquets! They were made by Forget Me Not Florists in Weston. The bouquets were a cascade of orchids that were held in large sea shells!
The reception was at the Rusty Pelican. I think that Diane chose a very striking and elegant shade of blue. The whole look of the decorations and room was just very tasteful but fun. The sea-theme totally worked with the view of the bay from Rusty Pelican.
Thank you Diane and Danny! We loved being a part of your day!
